THE LIFE CO2IntBio PROJECT WILL PARTICIPATE IN THE ANNUAL EVENT OF CO2 VALUE EUROPE

CO2 Value Europe is an international and non-profit association that has become the legitimate representative of the Carbon Capture and Utilisation (CCU) communitiy in Europe. CO2 Value Europe´s members share the belief that CCU technologies are neccesary to help the EU reach climate targets.

RESULTS SUMMARY: LAYMANS REPORT

PUBLICATION OF THE LIFE CO2IntBio PROJECT´S RESULTS

During the LIFE CO2IntBio project, different works have been developed, whose results can be found in the "Results" section of the project website.

The main results are associated to the project actions and are related to the main objectives of the project: demonstrate the viability and environmental benefits of the industrial symbiosis model proposed.

Among the published results are:

SPECIAL RECOGNITION AT THE I ENVIRONMENTAL SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS OF "EL NORTE DE CASTILLA"

El Norte de Castilla organized on March 23, in collaboration with the Environment Regional Government of Castilla y León, the  I El Norte de Castilla Environmental Sustainability Awards. Carburos Metálicos received a special mention for the CO2 capture and purification plant and the model developed within the framework of the LIFE project.

Replicability Plan

The replicability plan and transferability of the project´s results at a national level, have been analysed considering the following:

  • Location of CO2 emission sources, volume and flow of CO2 emitted, and origin of the emissions.
  • Location fo potential CO2 consumers.

Three specific replicability conferences aimed at key sectors have been carried out with the participation of 50 people.
