ECOLOGICAL LABELING OF CO2-DERIVED PRODUCTS: ENVIRONMENTAL PRODUCT DECLARATION (EPD)

The LIFE CO₂IntBio project will obtain CO₂ from the capture and purification of the combustion gases of a biomass plant that generates energy with the following characteristics:

• Its origin is renewable (biomass combustion).
• It is considered neutral in emissions.
• The sophisticated treatment it receives, and the analysis of the product make it suitable for use in the agri-food industry.
• The proximity of the supply reduces road transportation emissions.
• It has an Environmental Product Declaration
